When rounding, simply removed unwanted numbers after the point.
Any unwanted numbers before the point are replaced by 0.

Round 52 397.225 to 3sf gives 52 400 (3sf)
Round 0.048 216 to 3sf gives 0.048 2 (3sf)

Numbers as Scientific Notation can also be rounded.
Only the f part is affected. The n part stays the same.
Round 2.3619x10⁷ to 3sf gives 2.36x10⁷
